NPR’s interview with Dolly Parton on success, faith, and hard times is a prime example of how God can catapult you to the highest heights from the lowliest of places.

Feeling alone in a world full of people
We watch the news, listen to water-cooler breakdowns of news events, get bombarded by opinions, and sometimes it’s easy to think people are mostly bad. It’s easy to forget that we are not alone in a sea of ‘bad’.
God is always with us, yes, but so is our fellow man. Sometimes, when you feel most alone, it’s time to ‘phone a friend’ or many friends or make new friends. Reach out, and you might be surprised.
